Our little sunshine inspired nursery reveal – Ready for bub number 2!

After racking my brain for what felt like almost the whole 9 months of my pregnancy about how to decorate this nursery, I FINALLY came up with enough ideas to try and piece together a space that would be ready for our second little guy’s arrival. Noah’s nursery was very different to this one, filled to the brim with decor pieces, incorporated with lots of grey’s and white’s and I had a huge set of drawers in the room that took up a lot of space. My decor style has completely changed since then so I knew that this time around I wanted to do something very different. I didn’t want a lot of items crowding this space as the room is a tad smaller than Noah’s bedroom, and I also wanted it to be eclectic and boho and bright and fun! So when I found my main decor piece, the beautiful pampas sun, I just knew I had to centre the room around it

Built in wardrobe

We only recently installed the built in wardrobe in Noah’s room and have found it to be one of the best things we have ever done. So it was only logical that we did the same thing for the new baby’s room. This time we wanted to complete the wardrobe before bub got here therefore saving us on space and not needing a big chest of drawers in his room. All the products we used are from IKEA and it is part of the PAX system. I won’t go into huge detail over this particular wardrobe fit out as it is mostly very similar to how we completed Noah’s in terms of items used and layout. Do check out the blog piece I wrote on Noah’s new wardrobe which will go into the smaller details of costs and the particular items we used ➝  https://cassieandco.net/home/noahs-new-wardrobe-fit-out-all-ready-for-his-new-big-boy-room/
